First seen Mar 26, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tests whether a low dose of the drug pazopanib, taken daily for 24 weeks, can reduce the severity and duration of nosebleeds in people with hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia (HHT), a condition that causes frequent bleeding. About 70 participants will receive either the active drug or a placebo. The researchers will also check if the drug improves anemia (low red blood cells) caused by blood loss. The goal is to ease symptoms and improve quality of life.
