First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tested whether having a patient navigator—a person who guides individuals through the healthcare system—could increase the number of people getting screened for colorectal cancer. About 29,000 French adults aged 50 to 74 who had never or rarely been screened took part. The goal was to see if navigation could reduce social and geographic inequalities in screening rates.
