First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tests whether pasteurized donor human milk (PDHM) is a practical feeding option for infants exposed to HIV. Ten caregivers in Saskatchewan will try PDHM as a supplement to breastfeeding or formula for 4 weeks. Researchers will track how often PDHM is used and ask caregivers about any challenges, aiming to improve future access to donor milk for this group.
