Summary
This study looks at how well proton therapy works for treating early-stage breast cancer in people aged 40 and older. The goal is to see if this focused radiation can keep the cancer from coming back while causing fewer side effects. About 150 participants who had a lumpectomy will receive partial breast proton therapy and be followed for recurrence and side effects.
