First seen Mar 11, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looks at how carvedilol, a drug used for heart conditions, affects brain scans over three years in 15 people who have early signs that may lead to Parkinson's disease. Participants have REM sleep behavior disorder and other risk factors but do not yet have Parkinson's. The goal is to learn more about changes in the brain before symptoms appear, not to treat or cure the disease.
