New bronx program aims to ease pandemic stress for parents and caregivers
NCT ID NCT04991467
Summary
This study is testing two different ways to help reduce stress and improve mental health for caregivers in the Bronx who have been struggling during the COVID-19 pandemic. It will enroll 360 primary caregivers who report moderate stress levels, including parents of children with medical conditions and frontline healthcare workers. Participants will be randomly assigned to try a 12-week group support program, a mental health app, or both, to see which approach works best to lower stress and improve access to care.
