NCT ID NCT04519489
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looked at whether using a positive airway pressure (PAP) machine at night can reduce the return of atrial fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat) in people who also have obstructive sleep apnea. The study planned to include 129 adults with both conditions who were already receiving rhythm control treatment. The study was terminated early, so results are limited.
