First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tests two new imaging methods—Superb Microvascular Imaging (SMI) and Shear Wave Elastography (SWE)—used with endoscopic ultrasound to better tell apart pancreatic adenocarcinoma from other pancreatic tumors. Researchers will enroll 150 adults with solid pancreatic lesions to see if these techniques improve diagnostic accuracy compared to standard methods. The goal is to reduce false negatives and help guide treatment decisions.
