First seen Apr 29, 2026 · Last updated Jun 19, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study tests a special medical food powder (Encala®) in 18 adults with pancreatic cancer who have trouble absorbing fat, causing stomach issues and weight loss. The goal is to see if the powder is easy to take and helps improve fat absorption and quality of life. This is an early pilot study, not a cure, but it may offer a new way to manage a common side effect.
