Can a drop of glue stop deadly pancreatic leaks?

Summary
This study tests whether using a special surgical glue (Glubran 2) during pancreas surgery can reduce the risk of a dangerous leak from the pancreas. About 194 adults with a soft pancreas who need surgery for cancer will be randomly assigned to receive the glue or standard care. The main goal is to see if the glue lowers the rate of pancreatic leaks within 30 days after surgery.
