First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study looks at how often people with active Crohn's disease have a problem called exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI), where the pancreas doesn't make enough enzymes to digest food properly. Researchers will check 50 adults before and 14 weeks after they start a biologic therapy for Crohn's. The goal is to understand how common EPI is and how it changes with treatment.
