Researchers track hidden pancreatic issue in Crohn's patients

NCT ID NCT03915262

Summary

This study aims to measure how often people with active Crohn's disease also have a problem where their pancreas doesn't make enough digestive enzymes. Researchers will check 50 participants for this pancreatic issue when they start a new biologic medication and again 14 weeks later. The goal is to understand if this digestive problem is common in Crohn's patients and if it changes with treatment.
