New Two-Pronged attack on tough pancreatic tumors aims to make surgery possible
NCT ID NCT07208539
Summary
This study is testing a two-step treatment for pancreatic cancer that is difficult or impossible to remove with surgery right away. The goal is to see if giving two different combinations of chemotherapy drugs plus an immunotherapy drug can shrink the tumors enough so that surgery becomes an option. Researchers will enroll 77 adults with this type of pancreatic cancer to see if this approach is safe and effective at increasing the chance of successful tumor removal.
