New surgical method aims to stop pancreatic cancer from coming back

Summary
This study tests a more thorough surgery called total mesopancreas excision for people with pancreatic head cancer. The goal is to remove all cancer tissue around the pancreas to lower the chance of the cancer returning. 90 adults with resectable cancer will be followed for 2 years to see if this approach improves survival and reduces recurrence.
