New surgery aims to stop pancreatic cancer from coming back

Summary

This study tests a more thorough surgery technique for pancreatic head cancer. The goal is to remove more tissue around the tumor to lower the chance of cancer returning. 90 adults with resectable cancer will be followed for 2 years to see if this approach improves survival and reduces recurrence.
