New surgical technique aims to cut pancreatic cancer recurrence

Summary

This study is testing a more thorough surgical technique for removing pancreatic head cancer. The goal is to see if removing more surrounding tissue during the main operation reduces the chance of the cancer coming back and helps patients live longer. Researchers will follow 90 patients who receive this specific surgery to measure survival and recurrence rates.
