First seen Apr 22, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tested whether a more thorough endoscopic ultrasound could find cancer that has spread to lymph nodes in patients with pancreatic cancer who are scheduled for surgery. 33 adults with operable pancreatic tumors took part. The approach aimed to improve cancer staging by better identifying hidden metastases, which could help guide treatment decisions.
