New radiation implant takes aim at hard-to-treat pancreatic cancer

Summary
This study is testing a new approach for people with advanced pancreatic cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. A small device that gives off a special type of radiation is placed directly into the tumor, and patients also receive standard chemotherapy. The main goal is to see if this combination is safe and to measure how well it controls pain and extends survival. About 40 participants will take part across two groups: those with locally advanced cancer and those with cancer that has spread.
