New scan analysis could predict which pancreatic cancer patients Won't respond to chemo
NCT ID NCT07243288
Summary
This study aims to see if a new way of analyzing medical scans, called radiomics, can help doctors predict early on which patients with advanced pancreatic cancer will not respond well to standard first-line chemotherapy. It involves looking back at the scans and records of 400 adult patients who were already treated for metastatic pancreatic cancer. The goal is to find patterns in the scans that might signal treatment failure sooner than current methods, potentially allowing for faster changes to a patient's care plan.
