Summary
This study aims to track how well endoscopic ultrasound biopsies diagnose pancreatic and bile duct cancers in real-world hospital settings. It will follow 2,500 patients across specialized pancreas centers in Italy's Lombardy region to measure diagnostic accuracy, safety, and how long it takes to get from testing to treatment. The research observes standard care without changing treatments, seeking to identify ways to improve the diagnostic process for these serious cancers.
