Summary
This study tested whether a special type of radiation using carbon ions could better control inoperable pancreatic cancer than standard radiation. It involved 25 adults with confirmed, non-operable tumors who could not have surgery. Researchers measured survival, side effects, and quality of life to see if this newer approach was more effective.
