Summary
This study tests a screening tool called NECPAL to identify hospitalized patients with advanced chronic diseases who could benefit from palliative care. Researchers will check 200 adults to see how many are flagged by the tool and whether they are already receiving palliative care. The goal is to help doctors recognize these patients earlier so they can get the right support.
