New sepsis trial aims to match treatments to Patients' unique biology

Summary
This study tests whether tailoring sepsis treatments to each patient's specific biological traits can improve survival and reduce time on life support. About 2000 children and adults with sepsis will receive either standard care or treatments guided by their individual biomarkers. The goal is to find the best approach for different patient groups, especially during pandemics.
