New topical treatment tested to clear stubborn HPV infections
NCT ID NCT07493824
Summary
This study is testing whether a liquid antibacterial solution applied directly to the cervix can clear a persistent, high-risk HPV infection. It will involve about 115 women aged 25-65 who have had the same HPV strain for at least two years. The main goal is to see if the treatment can make the HPV test negative and to check its safety over a two-year follow-up period.
