New treatment tested to clear stubborn HPV infection
NCT ID NCT07493824
Summary
This study is testing whether a liquid antibacterial treatment called Paiteling can clear persistent high-risk HPV infection from the cervix. It will involve 115 women aged 25-65 who have had the same HPV type for at least two years. Participants will apply the treatment directly to the cervix over six treatment courses, and researchers will check if the HPV infection clears over a 24-month follow-up period to see if it's safe and effective.
