Summary
This study aims to understand why severe nerve pain develops after a spinal cord injury. Researchers will measure pain signals and nervous system responses in 300 participants, including people with recent or long-term injuries and healthy volunteers. The goal is to learn how the pain system changes after injury, which could inform future treatments.
