First seen Jan 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tested two methods of delivering a pain-blocking injection (TAP block) after laparoscopic upper abdominal surgery: one guided by ultrasound and the other by the surgical camera. Sixty adults aged 18-70 took part, and researchers measured their pain levels and need for extra pain medicine in the first 24 hours. The goal was to see which method provides better pain relief and recovery.
