Summary

This study tested two methods of delivering a pain-blocking injection (TAP block) after laparoscopic upper abdominal surgery. Sixty adults received either an ultrasound-guided or a laparoscopy-guided injection. Researchers measured pain scores, painkiller use, and recovery during the first 24 hours after surgery to see which method worked better.
