New study aims to find best pain relief for faster recovery after lung surgery
NCT ID NCT04990713
Summary
This study aims to find the best way to manage pain after a common type of minimally invasive lung surgery (VATS). Researchers are comparing two different nerve-blocking techniques to see which one helps patients feel better and recover more comfortably in the first 24 hours after their operation. About 200 adult patients scheduled for this type of surgery will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two pain control methods.
