NCT ID NCT06969274

First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated Jun 10, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tests if a newer ultrasound-guided nerve block can control pain after hemorrhoid surgery as well as the standard saddle block. Fifty adults aged 18 to 65 having hemorrhoid removal will be randomly assigned to one of the two methods. Researchers will track pain scores and how much extra pain medicine is needed in the first 24 hours after surgery.
