NCT ID NCT06464146

First seen Mar 30, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study tests whether a nasal spray of fentanyl or ketamine can reduce pain more effectively than oral morphine in children aged 2 to 17 with limb injuries. About 300 children will receive one of the three medicines, and their pain will be measured after 30 minutes. The goal is to find a quicker, easier way to manage severe pain in the emergency department.
