Scientists test two methods to ease Kids' Post-Surgery pain
NCT ID NCT06789367
Summary
This study looked at the best way to give a common steroid medicine (dexamethasone) to help control pain after hip surgery in children. Researchers compared giving the medicine directly into a nerve-numbing block versus giving it through an IV. The goal was to see which method provided longer-lasting pain relief and better reduced inflammation after surgery.
