First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study compares two types of nerve blocks to control pain after video-assisted lung surgery. Sixty adults will receive either a serratus posterior superior intercostal plane block or a deep serratus anterior plane block. The goal is to see which block provides better pain relief, reduces the need for strong painkillers, and improves recovery in the first 24 hours after surgery.
