New painkiller combo could ease recovery after lung surgery

Summary
This study tests whether a long-acting painkiller (liposomal bupivacaine) plus a standard painkiller works better than the standard painkiller alone for pain after lung surgery. About 100 adults having lung surgery will be enrolled. The goal is to see if the combination reduces the need for extra pain medicine and improves recovery.
