First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study tests two methods to control pain after keyhole stomach cancer surgery. One method uses a standard ultrasound-guided nerve block, while the other applies a special temperature-sensitive gel mixed with a numbing medicine directly to the surgical site. The goal is to see which approach provides better pain relief and helps patients recover faster. About 80 adults having this surgery will take part.
