First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study tests two methods to control pain after keyhole stomach surgery for cancer. One method uses a gel that turns into a liquid at body temperature and releases pain medicine right at the surgical site. The other is a standard ultrasound-guided nerve block injection. The goal is to see which approach provides better pain relief and helps patients recover faster. Eighty adults having planned laparoscopic gastrectomy will take part.
