First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study tests two methods to reduce pain after keyhole stomach surgery for cancer. One method uses a standard ultrasound-guided nerve block, while the other applies a special temperature-sensitive gel mixed with numbing medicine directly to the surgical site. The goal is to see which approach provides better pain relief and helps patients recover faster. About 80 adults will take part.
