First seen Mar 11, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study tests two types of nerve blocks to see which one works better for pain after breast cancer surgery. About 50 women having a mastectomy will get either a newer or a standard block. The goal is to find a way to reduce the need for strong painkillers like morphine and help patients recover more comfortably.
