New nerve blocks battle Post-Surgery pain

NCT ID NCT07498946

Summary

This study aims to find the best method to manage pain after open-heart surgery. Researchers will compare two different ultrasound-guided nerve-block techniques in 80 adult patients. The main goal is to see which method reduces the need for strong opioid painkillers in the first day after surgery. Better pain control could help patients recover faster with fewer side effects.
