Heart surgery pain study: finding the best path to comfort

Summary
This study aims to find out which of three common pain control methods works best to prevent long-term pain after open heart surgery. Researchers will observe 90 patients receiving standard pain treatments to see which method leads to less chronic pain three months after surgery. The study compares an IV pain pump, an epidural, and a nerve block, all of which are already used in regular care.
