Better pain control after cancer surgery: study tests nerve block combinations
NCT ID NCT07312825
Summary
This study looked at which combination of nerve blocks works best to control pain after major abdominal surgery for gynecologic cancers. Researchers observed 94 patients who received different nerve block combinations as part of their standard anesthesia care. They compared pain levels, opioid medication use, and recovery times to see which approach provided the most effective pain relief.
