First seen Feb 16, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a special nerve block (called ESPB) can help control pain after surgery for a slipped disc in the lower back. The goal is to see if it reduces the need for strong painkillers, helps people get up and move sooner, and shortens their hospital stay. The study involves 78 adults having single-level disc repair surgery.
