Summary
This study explored whether how people with opioid addiction respond to pain is connected to their cravings for opioids. Researchers worked with 89 adults who have opioid use disorder and chronic pain, giving them brief education sessions and then measuring their pain responses. The goal was to understand this relationship better to potentially inform future treatment approaches.
