Summary
This study aimed to understand the connection between how people with opioid addiction experience pain and their cravings for opioids. Researchers enrolled 89 adults with both opioid use disorder and chronic pain. Participants attended a single session where they received brief education and then had their pain responses and cravings measured to see if they were linked.
