New study aims to ease pain after hernia surgery

Summary

This study looks at two different methods to control pain after laparoscopic hernia repair. Sixty adults having this surgery will be randomly assigned to receive either a numbing injection into the belly wall or a targeted nerve block guided by ultrasound. The goal is to find which method provides better pain relief and helps patients recover more comfortably.
