First seen Apr 13, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study tested whether a special injection of multiple drugs around the knee can better control pain after total knee replacement compared to standard painkillers like opioids and NSAIDs. 80 adults with end-stage knee arthritis were enrolled. The goal was to see if the injection leads to less pain, better knee function, and fewer side effects.
