Summary
This study looked at how healthy adults experience pain. Researchers used a heat device on the forearm to cause mild, temporary pain, sometimes with a pain-relieving cream. 64 participants rated their pain and expectations. The goal was to learn more about pain mechanisms to improve treatments for people with chronic pain.
