Summary
This study is testing whether a strong numbing cream can help reduce chronic nerve pain in older adults who haven't gotten enough relief from other pain medications. Participants will use either the active cream or a placebo cream for two weeks at a time to see which one works better. Researchers will measure changes in pain levels and how well people can return to their daily activities.
