Summary
This study is testing a strong numbing cream to see if it can reduce chronic nerve pain in the hands or feet of older adults who haven't gotten enough relief from other pain pills or treatments. Participants will try both the real cream and a placebo cream for two weeks each to compare the effects. Researchers want to know if the cream lowers pain and helps people get back to daily activities they've had to give up.
