First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tests whether a long-acting numbing medication called Exparel can reduce pain after rib cartilage is removed for nasal surgery. About 60 adults having nasal surgery that requires rib cartilage will receive either Exparel or the standard numbing drug. The goal is to see if Exparel provides better pain relief and reduces the need for oral pain pills.
