First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tests whether a long-acting numbing medication called EXPAREL® can reduce pain after rib cartilage removal for nasal surgery better than the standard numbing drug. About 60 adults having nasal surgery that requires rib cartilage will receive either EXPAREL® or the standard drug, and report their pain levels and pain medication use. The goal is to see if EXPAREL® provides longer-lasting pain relief.
