First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study compares two ways to manage pain after laparoscopic colorectal surgery. One group gets a standard abdominal nerve block, and the other gets that block plus an additional sacral block. The goal is to see if the combined approach reduces pain and the need for strong painkillers like morphine. The study involves 50 adults aged 18 to 90 who are having elective colorectal surgery.
